How to Unclok Your Sink Using Vinegar and Baking Soda

AgroWeb.org has mentioned in various articles the use of baking soda in house cleaning.

One of the most common problems that all of us have encountered more than once is precisely the blockage of the sink.

It can happen from food left on the dishes when we wash the dishes, or even as a result of minerals that are calcified in the drain pipes.

But what is certain, is that a clogged sink is one of the most stressful problems in the kitchen.

AgroWeb.org suggests a very easy solution for this, and you only need two ingredients.

Vinegar and baking soda is the perfect combination against clogging the sink, and it will help you in no time.

How to use these two products

First, put a kettle of water on the fire until it boils.

When the water has boiled, pour it down the sink.

Then pour in about half a cup of baking soda and let it do its job for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, you have mixed a glass of water with vinegar and a glass of very hot water together.

Pour this mixture into the sink drain.

Cover the sink drain with a bottle cap or small plate to prevent the mixture from spreading.

And leave it around for 10-15 minutes.

Then rinse with another glass of boiled water.

Why such a combination works

The baking soda and hot water work to loosen the debris that has built up in your sink faucets and drains.

Meanwhile, when you throw in apple cider vinegar, you create a chemical reaction that breaks down all of these residues.

And so your sink is unblocked, and what’s more, it gets rid of the unpleasant smell from food residues. /AgroWeb.org
